Message: I'm an Extension Coordinator with Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives (at Morden today). I received an e-mail (send to all Extension Coordinators in Manitoba) with your site, listing this year's stock dog events. Upon skimming over it, I noticed a couple of typographical errors which you might want your webmaster to fix. Carman (MB) is misspelled as Carmen. Manitoba is misspelled as Mantiboba in the listing for the Neepawa event. I'm a former newspaper editor, so I notice these things. I love your site! It's very attractive and easy to negotiate. I hope to get to one of these events as a spectator, as I love watching these dogs. We have a part-collie dog, but no livestock for him to herd. So he tries to herd the cats.. Thanks for your time. 2011 National Sheepdog Finals Blog
This link is to a blog profiling the handlers going to the US Border Collie Handler's Association National Finals in September.  There are some Canadians being profiled in the most recent posts. The last post was about Amanda Milliken of Kingston, ON. I just read the most recent one about Scott and Jenny Glen (Alberta, woot woot!) There is some pretty sage advice in there for anyone in this hobby. Plus it's just more enjoyable reading about herding, for the obsessed. Nice write-up Jenny!
